Scottish welterweight champion Steve Watt was "critical but stable" after sinking into a coma after a nontitle fight Friday night, a hospital official in London said Saturday.

Watt, who was fighting local favorite Rocky Kelly at the West London Hotel, reportedly collapsed as he returned to his corner after the fight had been stopped in Kelly's favor.
