The American Electronics Assn. said sales rose.

According to the report, U.S. electronics firms sold about $229 billion of domestically produced goods and services in 1985, up 1.4% from 1984. The association estimated that fourth-quarter electronics sales were $60.3 billion, compared to the $61.1 billion reported for the comparable 1984 quarter. December's electronics sales of $21.6 billion were 2.7% below the same month of the preceding year. In December, 1985, the critical new orders figure was $21.1 billion, 6% ahead of December, 1984, and 13% better than November, 1985.
