USC, UCLA Hold Track Meets Today

The men's and women's track and field teams from USC and UCLA are scheduled to compete on their home tracks today.

Opening their home seasons, USC's men and women will compete in triangular meets against San Diego State and New Mexico at Cromwell Field. Field events will start at 10 a.m. for the women and noon for the men. Running events will begin at noon for the women and 12:30 p.m. for the men.

UCLA's men will be involved in a quadrangular meet with Stanford, Iowa and Azusa Pacific; the women will compete against Stanford and Azusa Pacific. All of the competition will be held at Drake Stadium except for the hammer throw, which will begin at 10 a.m. at Cal State Los Angeles. Other field events will start at 11 a.m. for the women and 1 p.m. for the men. Running events will begin at 1:30 for the women and 2 for the men.
