A 12-year-old boy was accidentally shot and wounded Tuesday when a pistol that was being cleaned discharged, police said.
Matthew Alan Moss had gone into the backyard of a friend's house in the 3400 block of North Mountain View Drive shortly after 7 a.m., when a gun being cleaned by David Mass, 30, discharged, sending a bullet through a garage wall and into young Matthew's mouth, Detective Richard Hansen said.
