USC tailback Ryan Knight made several long runs, tight end Paul Green caught several passes behind his back and fullback Leroy Holt was impressive in a 90-play, spring practice scrimmage Saturday at Howard Jones Field.
The offensive unit dominated against a young defense, and Coach Ted Tollner was generally pleased with the results.
"We were short some guys at some positions, but I liked the team's attitude and its willingness to work," Tollner said. "We didn't have many fumbles and I had an opportunity to evaluate our people."
