New York Yankees Manager Lou Piniella was suspended for two games, effective Monday, by American League President Bobby Brown for bumping umpire Tim Tschida during a game against the Cleveland Indians April 26.

Piniella has the right to appeal. If he does, the suspension will be postponed pending results of a hearing.
