Nine undergraduates--including five players expected to be selected in the first round of the June 17 NBA draft--have been accepted for early entry into the league.

Centers William Bedford of Memphis State and Chris Washburn of North Carolina State, forwards Walter Berry of St. John's and John Williams of Louisiana State, and guard Dwayne (Pearl) Washington of Syracuse are expected to be among the first two dozen picks in the draft.

Other undergraduates entering the draft are guards Jerald Hyatt of Lincoln Memorial in Tennessee and Andre Morgan of Hawaii, former Georgetown forward Michael Graham, and Cedric Henderson, a forward who played professionally in Italy after leaving Georgia.
