Gary Cunningham, athletic director at the University of Wyoming and former basketball coach at UCLA, will become the athletic director at Fresno State, a Cheyenne, Wyo., radio station reported.

Station KFBC reported that Cunningham has decided to make the move for personal reasons and that an announcement would be made in the next day or so.

Cunningham would not comment.

Cunningham and Bill Cords, Texas El Paso athletic director, were the two finalists for the job left vacant when Jack Lengyel moved to the University of Missouri to become athletic director.
