Chicago White Sox officials and police say they don't know what caused a spectator to tumble 40 feet to his death from the upper deck of Comiskey Park during a game against the Kansas City Royals Friday night.

Edward Joyce, 53, a resident of Chicago's South Side and father of eight, was pronounced dead on arrival at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. The Cook County medical examiner's office has ruled the death accidental.
