Quotron's board will meet on Citicorp's bid.

May 23, 1986

Quotron Systems officials said the information services firm might comment Tuesday on Citicorp's unsolicited $19-per-share, $680-million tender offer following a meeting that day of Quotron's board. Meanwhile, investor speculation about a higher bid drove Quotron's stock price to as high as $19.50 during over-the-counter trading Thursday, but the stock closed at $19, unchanged from the day before. A Citicorp spokesman said the banking firm had no plans to raise its offer.
