Teachers and classified employees in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District are to be paid a one-time bonus plus a raise from state lottery funds, according to an agreement reached with the district.
Dave Dowling, the district's assistant superintendent for personnel, said bonuses will equal 3% of salaries for the 1985-86 academic year and a 2.5% raise will go into effect in July.
