Baby Who Fell 17 Stories Dies of Injuries in N.Y.

NEW YORK — An 11-month-old boy who crawled out the window of his family's apartment and plunged 17 stories to the ground died Saturday, five days after his fall. The boy died of "severe damage to the brain, lungs and several vital internal organs," a spokeswoman for Long Island Jewish Medical Center said.
