Debutante balls come in clusters, and several are in the offing. Pasadena Guild of Childrens Hospital plans its June Debutante Ball on Saturday at the Beverly Wilshire. Ball chairman Mrs. Warren Williamson is assisted by Mrs. Boyd Higgins. It's a blue-ribbon committee including president Mrs. Kennedy Galpin, Mrs. B. Durward Howes III, Mrs. William Williams Jr., Mrs. William Plunkett, Mrs. Robert Warfield, Mrs. Lawrence Forsch, Mrs. Warren Jefferson Arnett, Mrs. Richard Van Vorst, Mrs. George Kenneth Brown Jr., Mrs. Brice Toole Jr., Mrs. Merle Banta, Mrs. Robert Brown Jr., Mrs. William Taverner III, Mrs. Bradford Hall, Mrs. Kingston McKee, Mrs. Richard Sinclair, Mrs. Hugh Wilson Jr., Mrs. Frank Payne Jr., Mrs. Franklin Simmons, Mrs. Louis Winchester Jones Jr. and Mrs. Danford Baker.

Next Sunday, Las Patronas Auxiliary of the Ventura County Assistance League hosts its Debutante Presentation Ball at the Westlake Plaza in Westlake, according to Mrs. William Stowell. Members earlier announced the 16 debutantes at a tea at the home of Mrs. James Lloyd-Butler in Saticoy.

Saturday, the National Charity League of San Fernando Valley announced the names of 1986 debutantes at the June Tea planned by Mrs. William Weldon in the gardens of the Fred Selan home in Northridge. The 17 will make their formal bows in the ballroom of the Beverly Wilshire at the 21st annual presentation Nov. 29. Mrs. Richard Bedrosian is ball chairman. Debs receiving medallions from their mothers at the tea included Misses Karen Leigh Bedrosian, Janet Bell, Melissa Buckles, Kelly Chase, Damin Dourian, Michele Graham, Caryn Herlihy, Kimberly Kagy, Anne Mattson, Deanna Postil, Michele Schroeder, Suzanne Showers, Tracy Torgeson, Tiffany Trent, Karen Williamson, Mari-Kay Zovak and Mary Wagner.

There's quite a clamor for tickets for the Costume Council black-tie gala. The occasion is limited to an attendance of 210 when the Los Angeles County Museum of Art group has a special premiere of the Geoffrey Beene fall line hosted July 9 by Sak's Fifth Avenue. It's to be in the romantic gardens of Hotel Bel-Air, alongside the floral-banked streams and swan settings. Dinner and dancing to Clark Keene's Orchestra will follow in the Garden Room. Mrs. Timothy Vreeland is chairman, and she's been hosting committee meetings in her Century Wood condominium. Honorary chairmen will be Virginia Milner and the council's chairman for the past two years, Mrs. Miguel Llanos. There are two dividends: Geoffrey Beene will present his rave collection, and funds raised will go to the acquisition fund of the Costume Wing of the museum.

Party chairmen Jay and Jackie McMahan have guaranteed to keep all guests busy watching, eating, dancing and being thoroughly entertained at their "Day in Horse Country" fund-raiser next Sunday for the Angels for Autistic Children, the support group for the benefit of Angels Attic and Brentwood School for Educational Therapy (for autistic children and young adults). The McMahans are giving their Hidden Valley ranch for "Magnificent Horse Events"--a mixed bag of trick roping, jumping, quarter horses and show horses. Steve Kanaly of TV's "Dallas" will be honorary chairman. Later, Santa Maria Barbeque will provide steaks, popcorn wagons and ice cream carts for inventable ice cream cones. The Floyd Country Boys and Gloria Becker and Friends will entertain. Committee members include Angels president Joan Laverty and her husband, Roger; Phil and Virginia Gaspar; John and Jayne Jennings; center director John and Janis Kelley; Hubie and Shirley Laugharn; Art and Eleanor La Vove; Bill and Ann McWethy; Bill and Grace Miller; Phil and Janet O'Neil; Emily Peck; Tom and Maxine Ridgway; Manny and Diane Sheridan; Mari West and Elizabeth Westerby-Zoda.
