A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after police received the victim's plea for an ambulance, a police spokesman said Sunday.
Police believe that the victim, Nicasio Gonzales of Stanton, had managed to call police despite being stabbed in the stomach and hand about 3:30 a.m., the spokesman said.
