Supporters of the right to abortion protested during Sunday services of a pastor who recently prayed for the death or removal from office of five U.S. Supreme Court justices who voted to uphold abortion rights. About 15 protesters carried a banner reading, "God Grant Long Life to Pro-Choice Justices" as they marched outside the Ambassador Hotel. Inside, the Rev. Robert Hymers was holding services for his fundamentalist Baptist congregation. A week earlier, Hymers and congregation members held a prayer vigil outside the downtown Federal Courthouse denouncing the justices.
