June 23, 1986|From Reuters

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — A bomb exploded Sunday outside a police station in a busy commercial area in Peshawar, injuring 21 people--16 seriously, police said.

Police said another bomb exploded Saturday outside another Peshawar police station, but no one was hurt.

Peshawar is the capital of Pakistan's North-West Frontier province, which borders Afghanistan.

Pakistan, a supporter of Muslim guerrillas fighting Soviet-backed Afghan government troops, has blamed Afghan secret agents for other blasts in recent months.
