Thank you for your very fine article about the bird rehabilitators, Judy Everett and Lew Johnson. I love birds and bird song, though I've never been involved in Audubon or anything like that, except to buy bird feed for my backyard doves and small assortment of little feeders.
I am very saddened by what I see happening to nature here, in Africa and everywhere where man's ignorance destroys the songbirds, wildlife, animals and people. I would like to help by sending money if I knew where to send it.
I have had my Audubon subscription lying on the table for some time and I will send it today. Your article really inspired me to demonstrate my concern and I thank you for it. Keep up the good work.
