A teen-age son of Bob Brodhead, Louisiana State athletic director, has been arrested with six others in what Baton Rouge police said was a theft ring involving cash, drugs and stolen merchandise.

A police spokesman said Jason Robert Brodhead, 18, was booked on two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, simple burglary of a pharmacy, possession of a sawed-off shotgun and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
