Film director John Landis and his four co-defendants in the "Twilight Zone" manslaughter case were told at a brief court appearance that jury selection in their trial should begin this week. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Roger Boren set a Monday hearing for a slew of motions, including defense efforts to bar trial testimony from government safety officers and to bar photos of the victims-- actor Vic Morrow and immigrant children Renee Chen and Myca Dihn--from being shown to a jury. The three died in a fatal helicopter crash on the 1982 movie's set. The defendants are accused of responsibility due to alleged negligence and child endangerment.
