Kathy Ormsby, the former North Carolina State runner who is paralyzed from the waist down, visited her parents' home in Rockingham, N.C., Sunday for the first time since her apparent suicide leap from a bridge last month.

"It's really good to have her here," said her mother, Sallie. "It makes it seem so much better."

Friends and neighbors visited during the weekend.
