County Supervisor Deane Dana has reappointed 12 members of the county Beach Advisory Committee to one-year terms. The board confirmed the appointments last week.
Reappointed were: Sid Bernstein of Malibu, president of the Las Tunas Beach Homeowners Assn. and of Community Emergency Services; Richard Van Duzer III of Pacific Palisades, an insurance broker, and Harry Kissel of Malibu, a builder.
Also, Norman Miller, vice chancellor emeritus of UCLA since 1979; Gary Hooper of Los Angeles, president of the Beverly Hills Republican Club, and Philip Parlett of Los Angeles, owner of a financial services company and a former assistant director of the Los Angeles Parks and Recreation Department.
Others are Ellen Goetz of Hermosa Beach, Jack Baker and Dwight Crum, both of Redondo Beach, and Marion Parkov, Marsha White and Charles Barker, all of San Pedro.
