The City Council of Culver City has appointed Joseph W. Pannone as city attorney after he served as acting city attorney for several months. Pannone, 32, succeeds Bert Glennon Jr., who left in March to become a municipal court judge.
Pannone was graduated from Loyola University Law School in 1980, after serving as a legal intern in the city attorney's office. He was hired by Culver City as a legal clerk that same year and was appointed deputy city attorney in 1981. The city made him assistant city attorney last August.
