Lion Kills Mother, 3 Children in Zimbabwe

BINGA, Zimbabwe — A lion mauled to death a peasant woman and three of her children as they walked along a bush trail in northwestern Zimbabwe, police said Thursday.

Jerina Munsaka, 26, and her two sons and a daughter, ranging in age from 8 months to 8 years, were attacked in the Kalumgwizi district near Binga, an administrative center, police said. Government game rangers are hunting the lion, police said.
