Unbeaten Mike Tyson signed a contract to meet Trevor Berbick for the World Boxing Council heavyweight title at the Las Vegas Hilton.

The fight will be held the last week of October or the first week of November and will be televised by Home Box Office, which is staging a series of fights to unify the heavyweight title.

Tyson, 20, has a 26-0 record with 24 knockouts. Tyson will first fight Alfonzo Ratliff Sept. 6 in Las Vegas on the undercard of Michael Spinks' defense of his International Boxing Federation heavyweight title against Steffen Tangstad of Norway.
