Loans for Fire Victims: Residents of the Casa de Valencia Apartments who lost personal property in the July 3 fire are eligible for low-interest loans from the Small Business Administration, according to Fire Department Division Chief Jeff Bowman. Loans of up to $20,000 are designed to cover uninsured and under-insured losses. Interest rates on the loans will vary from 4% to 8%, depending on the availability of other credit sources.
