OCEANSIDE — The body of a 28-year-old Marine was found under a freeway bridge early Sunday, Oceanside police reported, adding that circumstances of the death were "suspicious."
An Oceanside resident walking toward Oceanside Harbor about 7:10 a.m. Sunday discovered the body beneath the Interstate 5 bridge at the San Luis Rey River. The body was near a pedestrian path north of the river.
