Los Angeles-based National Medical Enterprises announced that it will invest $12 million with limited partnerships and joint ventures, which will own the 22 projects expected to cost about $206 million. Most of the cost of the housing--3,381 units in 15 states--is to be financed through tax-exempt bonds. The company envisions residential campuses with optional housekeeping, food and recreational services available, as well as several levels of medical care and assistance.
