In football a game officiated under two rulebooks, Mount Allison University of Canada beat Maine Maritime Academy, 19-0, at Castine, Me.

Because American and Canadian football rules differ, the game was played under combined rules. Both teams had 11 players on the field when Maine Maritime had the ball, but played 12 when the New Brunswick team was on offense. The game was played on the smaller American field, but the teams observed the one-yard neutral zone.
