ANGELES, Philippines — Bar girls joined a 2,000-strong demonstration Sunday to call for U.S. military bases to remain in the Philippines.

The women from Angeles City and Filipino civilian workers from nearby Clark Air Base, 50 miles north of Manila, protested a demand by militant members of a constitutional commission that foreign bases in the Philippines be banned.
