PARIS — A strike by railwaymen belonging to the Communist-led CGT union has taken one in three suburban trains around Paris out of service, a French railways spokesman said Tuesday.
The spokesman for the state-owned system said some services in the south of France were also disrupted by the strike, which began Monday night and is scheduled to end at 8 a.m. today. Services were otherwise normal.
