Brush Fire Controlled

September 10, 1986|From Times Wire Services

A change in wind direction helped firefighters to control a 200-acre brush fire that erupted Tuesday in a hilly area about two miles east of Interstate 15 just south of Cajon Pass in the San Bernardino National Forest.

No injuries were reported and no structures burned, but California 138 was closed for about an hour.
