Court said 'no' to Fabulous Inns investor.

September 11, 1986

Shareholder Frank Ferreira was turned down in his bid to reimpose a previous injunction--which limited corporate expenditures--against management of Fabulous Inns of America by a three-panel 4th District Court of Appeal panel. Ferreira has filed a formal appeal seeking to stop a settlement between the company and a group of executives it ousted two years ago. The Chula Vista investor, who now owns more than 30% of Fabulous Inns stock, refused to sign the settlement. The justices advised Ferreira that he could continue with his lawsuit against the ousted group but refused to resurrect the injunction.
