Channel Islands Views Offered at Town Houses in Oxnard

September 14, 1986

To paraphrase the classic "September Song," the ocean-view town houses dwindle down to a precious few with today's opening of HarborsWest in Oxnard.

The development, by Raznick & Sons Inc., Woodland Hills, overlooking the Channel Islands Marina, consists of only 16 two-bedroom units, with 2,000 square feet of living area, priced from $299,950 to $329,950.

Designed by Kenneth Johnson Architects AIA, the development features Cape Cod exterior design. Each unit has 2 1/2 baths and each of the bedrooms is a master suite with its own full bath. Other features include balconies and decks with a spa included, two fireplaces, two wet bars and--a rarity in developments this near the ocean--air conditioning.

A monthly homeowners association fee of $230 pays for upkeep of common areas and amenities, including a swimming pool. A model unit, decorated by Cher-Ron Design Associates, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 2807 Harbor Blvd., reached from the southbound Victoria Avenue exit of the Ventura (101) Freeway.
