Twenty-five Tennessee football players must forfeit their complimentary game passes for the entire season because they violated National Collegiate Athletic Assn. rules concerning the tickets last season, Athletic Director Doug Dickey said.

In addition, 21 other players who violated the rules last year will lose pass privileges for some games, Dickey said.

The NCAA declared last week that Volunteers who violated the rules concerning the passes would not face suspension from games but would lose complimentary passes this season.

Each football team member at an NCAA school is allowed four passes for every home game. They are for immediate family members or enrolled students only.
