Twenty-two people were arrested and 58 grams of rock cocaine was confiscated during a raid of a two-block area of Southeast San Diego late Saturday, police reported.
About 50 officers participated in the sweep of the 5200 and 5300 blocks of Naranja Street about 11:30 p.m. The suspects were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale, being under the influence of drugs and for providing false information to a police officer, Sgt. John Wray said.
Nine of those arrested were juveniles, including two 14-year-old girls arrested for curfew violation.
