Lady's Secret, the sleek gray 4-year-old daughter of Secretariat, won the $230,000 Ruffian Handicap at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.

Jockey Pat Day guided Lady's Secret to a stakes record of 1:46 4/5 over a mile and an eighth that resulted in a $3.00, $2.40 and $2.10 payoff.

The win was good for $138,240 and boosted Lady's Secret career earnings to $2,291,725.

"They should bronze Lady's Secret and put her right next to her daddy in the paddock," trainer Wayne Lukas said.
