Academic Community and Job Market

September 28, 1986

The article about college career counseling was very pertinent to modern ways of future planning.

However, I could not help but think of all the people--both young and old--who are not eligible for college career centers and would have to pay the large fees of professional centers.

There is a place in Santa Monica that offers career counseling and is a nonprofit organization. It is called Aware Advisory Center. It has been in existence for 14 years and has vocational and educational counseling, a well-stocked library, and interest inventory testing at very low fees. It is open to everyone.
