TOKYO — The world's top tennis player, Ivan Lendl of Czechoslovakia, and No. 2 Boris Becker of West Germany will compete in the $375,000 '86 Seiko Super Tennis competition in Tokyo Oct. 21-26.
The 26-year-old Lendl won the U.S. and French Open championships this year, while the 18-year-old Becker won at Wimbledon.
The organizers said 32 athletes will compete in the six-day tournament at 10,000 seat Yoyogi national stadium.
Other leading players include 1985 Australian Open champion Stefan Edberg of Sweden, Andres Gomez of Ecuador, and U. S. players Paul Annacone and Jimmy Connors.
