November 06, 1986|United Press International

WASHINGTON — Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, 70, entered Bethesda Naval Hospital Wednesday night because of neck pain stemming from a nerve injury sustained during a skiing accident in his college days, the Navy said today.

Koop was listed in good condition and tests will be conducted for the next five to seven days to determine whether surgery will be required, a hospital spokesman said.
