Raiders Win Games in Spite of Marc Wilson

November 08, 1986

After the game with Denver, I have a few questions for the Raiders:

Is Marc Wilson color blind, especially with regard to black and white?

Is it true that the Denver defensive strategy was to insure that Wilson would not be injured?

When broken plays work better than the ones designed by the coaching staff, does that tell you something?

When the defense is such that the Raiders could pass virtually at will, why waste downs running? If the answer is that their quarterback is too likely to throw interceptions, why do the Raiders use that quarterback?

Why are Raider quarterbacks the only athletes in the world that are substituted for only in the event of injury? There are other reasons teams carry reserves, like the starter is having a rotten day.

Why can't I get my season tickets approved?

Do I care?
