Interhostel Adds Three Europe Programs to Its Spring Schedule

November 09, 1986

DURHAM, N.H. — Interhostel, an educational experience for people over 50, has added three opportunities in Europe to its spring schedule of overseas travel-study programs.

Programs will include two new locations in Toledo, Spain, and Orleans, France, and for the first time, Interhostel will also offer a studio arts program in Florence, Italy. This program will enable participants to improve their skills in drawing, painting and sculpture in the same locations that inspired masters of the Renaissance.

Sponsored by the University of New Hampshire's Division of Continuing Education, Interhostel works with overseas universities and institutions to provide lectures, discussions, sightseeing, field trips and social activities designed to give adults a better understanding of the history, people, culture and customs of a selected country.

Interhostel's Spring/Summer Bulletin, available now, includes complete descriptions for all Interhostel programs available March through July of 1987. In addition to the new Toledo, Orleans, and Florence programs, Interhostel will again be offering programs in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Cascais, Portugal; Athens; Leysin, Switzerland; Bristol, England; Cork, Ireland; Jonkoping, Sweden, and Innsbruck, Austria.

The cost for each two-week program excluding air fare ranges from $995 to $1,095 per person double occupancy. This cost includes all ground transportation; full room and board, generally at the host university or modest hotels; tuition, and admission to all monuments and museums.

For more information about any of the programs or to receive the free bulletin, write to Interhostel, University of New Hampshire, 6 Garrison Ave., Durham, N.H. 03824, or call (603) 862-1147 between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. EDT weekdays.
