USX Chairman David M. Roderick and United Steelworkers President Lynn Williams will meet again today in an effort to resolve problems blocking a settlement in a more than 3-month-old labor dispute. . .Retail gasoline prices have stabilized, but the future is hard to predict because of the volatility of wholesale prices, the Lundberg Survey reported. The biweekly survey showed the average nationwide price for a gallon of gas on Nov, 7 was 84.63 cents, down 0.1 cent since Oct. 24. . .C & R Clothiers of Los Angeles agreed to buy 22 Grodins stores in the San Francisco Bay Area and one in San Diego for an undisclosed price . . . Cineplex Odeon said it completed its previously announced purchase of Neighborhood Theatre, a 79-screen movie theater chain, for about $21 million . . . Los Angeles-based Teledyne said the previously announced spin-off of Argonaut Group Inc. will be completed Nov. 12 when Argonaut stock certificates are mailed to Teledyne shareholders.
