One recent Sunday morning on my aging father's birthday, I decided we would take in an entertaining local sporting event. Realizing my dad's intense love of basketball, I thought a Laker game was in order.
The only thing "magic" in the Forum that day was Dr. Buss' incredible trick of separating a devoted Laker fan from his wallet. After surrendering to Buss what is Buss', I found myself asking if enjoying an evening with my beloved father is worth the price. After the usual outrageous expenses of seats in the nosebleed section, parking and a program, I had to stop and ask myself if I really needed that hot dog and Coke.
Please, Dr. Buss, sell another stamp and bring the prices down.
