Republican leaders will meet Tuesday in Des Moines in the first of several forums focusing on Farm Belt problems. Two senators, five governors and governors-elect, five congressmen and one congressman-elect have said they will attend the session hosted by Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad to discuss ways to revitalize rural America. The meeting is expected to focus on alternatives to the farm commodity program, farm exports, farm credit and rural development.
