Quake Hits Yugoslavia

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia — A strong earthquake in western Yugoslavia injured 14 people and heavily damaged a church, a school and a new hospital, the Politika newspaper said today. The epicenter of the quake, which measured 5.5 on the Richter scale, was near Knin, a town of 10,000 people near the Adriatic coast 86 miles southwest of Belgrade. The tremor struck shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
