Nevada Reno Scores a 27-7 Win Over Idaho in Playoffs

RENO — Charvez Foger gained 104 yards in 16 carries, and Lucius Floyd added 99 yards and a touchdown in 25 carries Saturday to lead undefeated Nevada Reno to a 27-7 victory over Idaho in an opening-round game of the NCAA Division 1-AA playoffs.

The Wolf Pack (12-0) will play host to Tennessee State next Saturday in the quarterfinals. Tennessee State defeated Jackson State, 32-23, Saturday.

Idaho finished its season 8-4.

Wolf Pack quarterback Eric Beavers completed 9 of 25 passes for 86 yards and one touchdown and was intercepted once.

Nevada Reno sacked Idaho quarterback Scott Linehan five times and intercepted one pass. Linehan completed 22 of 49 passes for 202 yards.
