A hair stylist on the "Twilight Zone" movie set testified Thursday that she overheard director John Landis gruffly tell a script supervisor "to shut up" when the supervisor told him that a filming sequence appeared too dangerous to shoot.
Stylist Virginia Kearns, the 51st witness in the long-running involuntary manslaughter trial of Landis and four associates, said the exchange took place no more than two hours before actor Vic Morrow and two child actors were struck and killed by a helicopter during the shooting of the sequence.
