History certainly does repeat itself.
In pre-war Munich there was a Museum of Decadent Art. Various monstrosities of sculpture and painting were shown with contemporary press clippings praising them.
Now you have the same in Los Angeles. But don't use the term MOCA too liberally, as it is also the name of a carcinogenic urethane chemical condemned by the EPA. Hardly appropriate to the Museum of Contemporary Art (ahem).
