LONDON — Prince Edward, youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II, quit the Royal Marines tearfully because he found the training too tough, the Sun newspaper said today.
Edward, 21, cried for three hours after making up his mind to resign last Friday, just four months after he began full-time training as an acting lieutenant, the paper said without identifying its sources.
