AND WAIT, THERE'S MORE: Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek has been in Liverpool with Echo & the Bunnymen, producing the band's new version of the Doors' hit "Light My Fire." . . . Guitar wiz Mason Ruffner, who got a load of critical accolades for his debut album earlier this year, is finishing up a second record, titled "Gypsy Blood," with Dave Edmunds handling the production chores. . . . Jimmy Clone (a.k.a. Jimmy Frederickson of the Rolling Clones) is back on the scene with a remake of Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride." The single, available locally on Rock Stuff Records, features Clone on vocals, with guitars by (original Steppenwolf member) Michael Monarch.
